Delivery FAQ

Here are the questions we’re most often asked about home delivery of mulch, stone, sand and other landscaping products. Click the + sign to view the answer. If you don’t find the information you’re looking for here, give us a call!

We deliver Monday through Saturday starting at 7am. We will do our best to specify an AM or PM window for delivery, but we can’t promise a specific time.

Chesapeake Landscape Materials can deliver anywhere in the state of Maryland. However, our focus is on approximately a 30-mile radius of our location in Pasadena, including portions of Baltimore, Howard and Prince George’s Counties. Please call us at 410-437-7718 to check on your specific location.

The quote you are given is an estimate. Your final cost will be based on the actual weight of the material when our truck crosses the scale upon departure from our facility. While the difference should not be significant, you should expect some minor variation between the quote and your final cost.

You do not. You may chalk off an area of your driveway to mark the dump location (preferred) or use a trash can, tarp, cone or any similar object.  Make sure to let us know which of those to look for when placing your order.

Yes. Either our driver or someone at our facility will advise you when the delivery is leaving our facility. Please provide us with any or all phone numbers we might need to reach you.

We will dump or offload your material onto a hard surface such as a driveway. While we understand that you might want it placed elsewhere in the yard, we can’t risk the potential damage to your property, including the edges of your driveway, if our equipment leaves the paved surface.

Yes. Our products are stored outdoors to begin with, so rain typically will not interfere with delivery operations. We deliver in all conditions except for snow and ice.
